The Golden Mean
$200 – 9x12in
These 9x12in abstract paintings illustrate Aristotle’s concept of virtue ethics, specifically courage . He claimed that virtue is found in the balance of two extremes. Courage is the balance between recklessness, represented by the left painting with jagged lines and haphazard colors, and cowardice, represented by the painting with colors running down half the canvas.
Tears in Heaven
$300 – 10x20in (each canvas)
Life is a winding road. It’s beautiful, but the path from birth to the end is confusing and convoluted, and too often those most deserving of life are taken from this earth too soon.

Mystic Waterfall
$80 – 8x10in
Lately I’ve been really drawn to water, as I always have been when my mind has been a mess. The calming, continuous motion of even a thundering waterfall has always eased my whirling mind. I tried to depict this serenity water makes me feel in the form of magical colors on a stretched canvas.

$40 – 9x12in
This painting was inspired by the spread of positive energy. The white stream in the middle represents a simple act of kindness, and the stream of vibrant, warm, beautiful colors is meant to depict the positive ripple effects one simple act of good will can have.

Cold Prism
$60 – 9x12in
This painting represents complicated clarity. Inevitable sadness represented by basic blue. In some parts, glimmers of hope inspired the addition of a warm bronze. The combination of sadness and positivity found in nature’s balance transformed into green. The nontraditional Dutch pour, with colors separated instead of blended together, represents the dissection of all parts of life, much like a prism separates white light into distinct colors.
Translucent Jellyfish
$80 – 10x20in
Abstract depiction of a bioluminescent, translucent jellyfish made with liquid acrylic paints on a 10x20in canvas.

Phoenix Rising
$500 – 10x10in
With this painting I was attempting to depict the beauty of struggle often found in life. Like a piece of coal turns into a diamond under pressure or a Phoenix is reborn more beautiful than ever after enduring flaming agony, I believe struggles shapes us as people, which is why I used the modeling paste to give this a rougher quality. I poured a red, yellow, gold and black flip cup for the background, representing fire and ash. The miniature Dutch pour, consisting of gold, white, red, and some dark pink, reminds me of a flower, like a poppy using the ashes of disaster as fertilizer to grow strong and vibrant instead of letting tragedy be her demise.

Spring Burst
$50 – 9x12in
While it was still technically winter when I painted this, I saw the first plants in my yard show signs of rejuvenation. This painting represents the unfurling of young leaves and the bright buds of flowers. The painting spreading in all directions represents the cheerfulness I felt when I kept noticing these plants coming to life. Nature truly is incredible; I hope to one day come even close to capturing its beauty in abstract form.

Galaxy Dutch Pour
$30 – 10x10in
Handmade galaxy painting created using a combination of different liquid art techniques, among them Dutch pouring for the laced design and good old fashioned splatter paint to achieve the stars.

$50.00 – 8x10in
This acrylic pour depicts an underwater scene featuring AquaMan’s silhouette with a golden trident.

$85 – 4x12in (each canvas)
There are moments when we manage to truly live in the present. Where time and worldly possession mean nothing. Where we do nothing, where we simply just are. This beautiful phenomenon is represented by the blend of vibrant colors. However, these fleeting moments are often missed out on due to us dividing the present into categorization and time, as represented by the separation onto three canvases.

$150 – 20x10in
This acrylic swipe depicts the snowy white silhouette of a beautiful woman, representing snow and struggle. Her vibrant, colorful hair flowing in a spring breeze represents feminine power and rebirth.

$258.00 10x20in
This abstract reverse dip represents the light just one positive experience can create. One positive action can start as a droplet, grow into a trickle, and eventually turn into a waterfall of positive change.
